Imagine your takeaway from yesterday being to brag about Pemsl, Connor McCaffery, and Patrick McCaffery as "recruiting wins"

The best is a thread called "Don't sleep on Pemsl". BTW that "Don't sleep on So and So" is the dumbest thing ever. All the fans were fired up about Pemsl on that thread. Todays threads they are ready for Pemsl to quit. Good stuff.
Why’s that, he’s not even one year removed from a NCAA tournament run?
Iowa fans need to be realistic imo.
Because he has been here 10 years. No other program would have kept him after that dismal 2017-18 season. He has also made the NCAA tournament just once out of the last four year and soon to be five years in years 6-10.
Is that bad for a lower-tier Big 10 program?
He’s the best coach at Iowa in a generation. He just went on a tournament “run”, albeit only a run for an Iowa type program. He’s proven he can reach the tournament in peak years with only instate tavernhawks and out-of-state nobodies, that’s pretty good imo.
It won't be the record that gets him fired, it will be one of his future tirades. I'd say there's a 25% chance we'll see an epic MadFran meltdown this year and hok faculty/fans will use their veiled PC concerns to get rid of him.
