OU's defense is certainly better than it was last year, but they do have the ability to sort of fall back to their older form. If Iowa State can exploit that, we shouldn't have a problem. We should be in this game in the 4th quarter and I think Brock will have a big moment to shine.

Hopefully it isn't a repeat of the OSU game. That was a brutal meltdown.

Haha...could be both I guess, but I don't think Iowa gets it in t255he end zone against Wiscy's stingy defense.

Seems like Wisky gets 2 lunch pail LBs drafted each year. A lot of 6-2 255# 3-4 LB types in the Midwest I guess. Going to the 3-4 worked out well for them

Alvarez did a nice job of modeling their program after Iowa's, and yes that shift to the 3-4 has worked well for them.

Not as bad as ISU's that's for sure.
If Minnesota's defense is as good as it's ranked, it will not give up 30 points to Iowa. Iowa hasn't scored 30 in one game against a P5 team not named Rutgers. Unless Iowa comes out and does something different I don't see that happening. Not saying Iowa won't win the game, but I just don't think they score that much.

Iowa's kickoff kicker leaving the team, maybe because the guy that kicks field goals is something like 23 out of 25. So this kickoff guy will never get the job. Seems logical to leave. That's my opinion anyway.

Iowa will move the ball but end up kicking FGs. Nothing new.

Iowa 19 (4fgs)
Min 24

Texas has one of the worst P5 defenses. Clones may score more and the game will not be as close as the score indicates.

ISU 45
Texas 28
