There was some sniffing.
I think you are mistaken. It has been reported that there is lots of sniffling over in Iowa City along with a stream of tears at this development.

Testifying
Let this sink in for the hok fans perusing this thread...you will have Fran on the sidelines and two Fran juniors on the court...fully 50% of the coach/on court players will be Fran's.

What could go wrong...
And Margaret in the crowd...

I asked someone very close to the ISU b-ball program what they thought about the Murray kids and they legitimately had never heard of them. This persons literal job is to find D1 b-ball players and they had never heard of these kids who played 2 hrs from campus for 4 years. This person isn’t a hawk hater either. They gave kudos to Weiskamp and told me last year he’d be a stud at Iowa and also acknowledges that Jor Bo is a very solid player even if he is lippy

I figured recruiting against nepotism claims would be difficult for Fran, but I didn't think it would be this difficult.

Way up there
This spin about these two is already great, they have to RS right? Could 3 out of the 4 in the '20 class end up red shirting? I can't imagine what this place would be like if we had 3 potential RS in a class.

You know it's bad when you have to tell people they will be on scholarship lol

If you read the report, it looks like they pulled out all the stops by having Hok Legend BJ Armstrong in attendance & posing for a photo. I imagine this was an insurance policy - just in case either were having doubts about accepting their offer.

What rise have they had? They haven’t played a single minute of prep school b-ball. Has a single other d1 school even showed interest?

this is more about luck than skill or hard work. They’re lucky Iowa offered them a scholarship. I doubt they’ll be there very long once they realize they’ll never see meaningful minutes. Freakin Brady Ernst was better than these kids and he sucked at ISU, sucked at FGCU and will suck at Drake

There's some truth to this. It's not going to look good when over half the responses on Twitter, Facebook, and message boards are negative and doubting their skills. Hopefully they have thick skin.
