I really, REALLY don't miss the days of watch us lose every single week and then getting SUPER excited when we almost win, manufacture some ill advised hope, and then still find a way to lose consistently.

I like our new offensive coordinator. Miles has things headed the right way. I love that he went for 2 down 1 with a minute to go. Bummed they lost but man, that was fun.

Texas is on pace for statistically the worst defense in their history. Reminds me of when a 2-10 Iowa State team lost 48-45 there a few years ago.

Thanks. We lost 12-7 to Coastal Carolina so I will take it with no hesitation. Kansas played well on the road against a ranked team. It's been awhile. Wish we won but that was a good game.

It's VERY weird that a Kansas fan comes right on here to post after a game that involves Kansas, but does not involve Iowa State. Don't you guys have your own board that is more interesting to post on about Kansas?

I know that my first instinct after a heartbreaking loss to a good team is to go onto a completely different team's message board.

And today after our win, I went right over to the Kansas State board to discuss it!

Weird for you, not for me. To each their own. I seem to be able to mentally track posting on two different sites at the same time and I knew your site would have a thread already going. If you didnt then I wouldn't have posted here.

This shouldn't surprise anyone. Texas has a history of looking past teams they consider inferior...including us. That gets exacerbated by a head coach who is a Mensa member and a d!ckhead who personally looks down on "inferior" programs. This is much more about Texas than KU.

Texas did make some progress this week, moving past Kansas into the #9 Big 12 defense...allowing 469 yds per game. Kansas...471 yds per game.

They did lose like 8 of 11 defensive starters from last year though I think.
