Week 1: A&M

Week 7: Boise State
Can't speak for the others, but I have my picks made through week 14, even though a) we probably won't go that far and b) **** happens and a team may lose where it's not expected to lose and I may have to revise. Some of you dispute the "copycat" phenomenon in this game, but here is some evidence for you to consider:
The only picks for Baylor are Posts #19, 21 . . . 37, 38, 39!
The only picks for Wisconsin are Posts #34, . . . 41, 43, 44!
It may be a brilliant strategy to tie your picks with someone who does their research, but let's not deny that something is going on.

Oh, I'm not worried. The first couple of weeks, I was the original and others followed. Now I show up in your stats as a follower. But since I know I've had my picks mostly planned out since about week 3/4, I know you're not describing me.Not pointing fingers at any particular posters, just reporting the fact of there being "clusters" of picks for particular teams. Personally, I would do much better in this game if I just followed someone else rather than using my own questionable judgment.
I tried doing that in the past and upsets made my future picks a waste of time. I generally only have an idea of who I want to take over the next couple of weeks.Oh, I'm not worried. I don't usually do them this early, but I've been using win predictor functions and revising them each week. So far, the revisions are very minor. I also try to avoid ranked teams at the beginning, saving them for later on. I've got a fairly good stable of picks left, but there's always that one damn team that screws the pooch...I tried doing that in the past and upsets made my future picks a waste of time.
