We took the rv out to Morgantown for cpr’s last game. Had a bunch of us all go. We were shocked at how nice and hospitable everyone was. We were out there for 4 days over thanksgiving. No matter where we went, people would stop us, shake our hand and thank us for coming to Morgantown. One time during the game I went up to the restroom and was stopped 5 times before I got there..
I finally asked if everyone was getting paid for each time it was said.... they laughed and said no but they wanted to change their reputation and make people from the big 12 feel welcome. They definitely did that for us. It was a great visit.

That was one wet game. Glad I had dry shoes and shirt in the car waiting me after the game being that I started driving back right after the game.

It was time to go. His dislike of defense and special teams cost us plenty of games and the revolving door of QB transfers was unsustainable. He was hailed as a QB guru when hired but all his backups were hot garbage. He's a brilliant offensive mind but definitely lacks in the head coaching department and social skills. Rubbed boosters the wrong way and liked to party it up (WV Casino incident, Atlantic City, various bars around town/Pittsburgh). The childish demeanor also rubbed off on the team.

He was a regular with his drinking buddy coaches (Shannon Dawson, Spavital Bros., Joe DeForest) at the Varsity Club next to the stadium.

From my experience with your fanbase, I can't see how his drinking would have been an issue for anyone.

I couldn't go 10 feet without a jar of shine being shoved in my face.

Oh ****!!! Who ate the one missing???

Also, what’s a WV fan take on your team this year?

We are currently trying hard to stop beating ourselves and potentially getting over it finally. The Iowa game about caused a civil war here due to some entitled geeks with flutes but it was all saved by joint deep loathing of world class assclown from the Des Moines Register.

Speak for yourself I enjoy my private time.

It's an issue when you lose games. Bob Huggins drinks like a fish but he walks on water because he's won a bunch over the last 12 years.

They even hated on Dana because he 'didn't wear school colors' and stuck with black polos but won't touch Huggs wearing his black/tan windbreaker lol.

Fair point. Huggs is a stone cold legend though. Guy has a lifetime pass to do whatever the **** he wants.

As much as Huggy drives me crazy, I have a soft spot for him because of this:

The dude cares.

That is such a great glimpse into the real Bob Huggins.

There is so much more to him than most people think. For instance, he barks at his players, but I've seen him let players bark back at him when he does something wrong. Of course, it had to be players like Jevon Carter who had earned the right to do so.
