I'm assuming this offer isn't a good sign for where they sit with Foster. Either way it's a head scratcher

Foster will be a Cyclone.
Going to be tough to beat Iona. They make the tourney often and have a great campus and location.
No way they beat out Bryant or Cleveland State. Those schools are way to powerfull. Actually funny thing is Bryant almost beat Iowa last year and not Kobe Bryant. An actual school named Bryant.
It baffles me that it's been 9 years and Fran still hasn't figured out that Iowa is't in the MAAC.
Baffles? Why would he change? Fran has ultimate job security is well paid and only needs to get the tourney every 4th year and be celebrated in EIU. Add in the fact he doesn't need to recruit hard because Hok frans don't expect to land even 4 starts. Setting the expectations low means it is easy to exceed them and finally he isn't Lickliter..
Those type of results and lack of expectations wouldn't fly for Cyclone fans but they work for in hawk fans.
Iowa has the Big 10 though, even if they’re the red-headed step child of that conference.
So this fall we've seen one top 100 recruit say no to EIU the day after a visit and now another the day before.
Fran's recruiting "keeping expectations low for a decade now."
This recruiting class will be the nail in the coffin for Fran. He still has a couple years until they actually can him but this class is going to be pretty telling.
