Meteorologists were 100% wrong again.

It's not looking great, but holding out hope. Lots of lightning just west of Ames.

Don't think I saw a single meteorologist yesterday predicting anything but sunny and 80's for this afternoon, with a chance of rain/storms later tonight but after the game. Now here in Waukee I've been hearing thunder rumbling for the past hour.

Giant blob just south of Madrid, another smaller blob between Boone and Jefferson, and a thrid one just south of Ft. Dodge. The one near Boone looks to be heading right towards Ames, but breaking up a bit. Likely delay of at least 30 minutes.
