I remember a piece in 2012 with the 'don't do this to us again' thing referring to the 2005 season that wasn't, and really, 2012 was probably worse considering some good signs from the year before.

This piece and season is very different...there's genuine confidence in pretty much every position, and the identity of ISU football is what teams have to prepare for.

We'll see how the season plays out as you never know, but this is a fun time to be a fan.
