Espn has all of the week 1 lines posted and we are listed at -18.5.

We beat them by 18 in 2017 when they went 8-5 that season for reference. I can’t help but think we have improved much more as a program in the last 2 years and should cover the number but this game has been known to get weird sometimes.

I think CMC will keep the offense pretty vanilla and not give TOE much to plan for, and I dont see UNI scoring much on this D. 31-3 Clones

Iowa State wins 83-1.

After scoring their 12th touchdown of the day, a very bizare series of events, starting with a blocked PAT fieldgoal (the 3rd stringrs are inexperienced), UNI tries to return it for 2 points but fumbles short of the goal line. Iowa State picks the ball up but the momentum carries him into the endzone and he stumbles to the ground resulting in a 1 point safety to UNI.

An even more rare form of the 1 point safety to be shown on ESPN until the end of time. Or at least the week/day.

It may top the butt fumble for the longest reigning not top 10 play.

You'd think it's to a point where ISU cruises especially with this many returning from a decent team but never know for the first game.

Not sure what UNI has but they tend to stick around.

I think we'll struggle at times in the first half but we'll look up at halftime and be up 24-3. We'll cruise to a 41-6 win.

With UNI breaking in a new QB against our defense, I really doubt that they can score enough to keep it close at all. I’d lay the points and take ISU.

Just going to be nice to have our season not thrown for a loop from the start like last year. ****** everything up.

I could see us winning by 3 or winning by 45, no in between.

UNI is really good up front on both sides. (Probably 5 or 6 guys that get at least a camp invite by the time they're done. Pretty crazy for the FCS) The problem is going to be a RS Freshman Quarterback (It's going to be McElvain from Des Moines Lincoln) and inexperienced linebackers.

I think its one where UNI keeps it reasonable in the first half but the defense can't handle all the time they'll be on the field by the middle of the 3rd quarter.

Something like 17-3 at half time and a 45-13 final.
