Hmmm. Do the statistics support that? I was looking at on the ISU site they say he’s never had a sack. Is that true? Yikes if he’s your best DL? 8 TFL in his career? Double yikes. Say this isn’t correct.

He's a hole plugger. That type of DL aren't always prolific sack guys. You can't deny he's a force in there regardless of stats.

It doesn't surprise me that you know next to nothing about football.

Do you know what kind of season Jaquan Bailey had for ISU at DE last year? Let me share.... 14.5 TFL's, 8 sacks, 47 total tackles. Do you know why we had the best LBs in the league and probably will again? Because they were free to run and make plays all over the field.

Do know why all of the above happened? Because of Ray Lima. And that's why he's rightly on the Bronco Nagurski Watch List, and the Outland Trophy Watch List.

I was refuting the statement that he’s the best DL in the state.

That Lima's the best DL in the state?

C'mon dude. Best interior DL in the state? Absolutely. Eppy is on pretty much every listing as a top-10 or top-15 overall player in the nation and neither of those other guys are even in the top 100. You're being silly.

Epenesa is a specialist and couldn't even be on the field for 50% of the snaps. No doubt he's the best pro prospect in the state (that's eligible after this year) but Lima is a man amongst boys

So statistically Bailey is not as good as Epenesa either. Lima is really good, but not as good as Epenesa.

Lima is going against legit offenses and Epenesa is playing less than 50% of the snaps. I have no problem if you think Epenesa is better but you can make an argument for Lima as well. He's that good

Offenses that pass more. More opportunities for sacks.
