View attachment 65000 Okay, Boxster, have you been fibbing to us about where you are? We took our first trip to 2019 Des Moines Arts Festival tonight and on the way back to the parking ramp walked past this little beauty.

That's a nice one but BoxsterCy be driving an OLD Boxster 986, not a spendy new 718. My car will be old enough to vote next year. Old man, old car, it fits.

After some driveway outpatient surgery last week the headlights reliably come on when the new switch is turned.

Robin Hood movie 2018 is really really really bad.

It's Kingsman meets Robin Hood. Woof. Brutal.

It could use some ample gratuitous nudity (which it does not have) to distract from it's sheer awfulness.



Update Edit: The ending was designed to leave this open for a sequel. LOL, there ain't gonna be a sequel.

Prince of Thieves isn't even very good, but for me...no Kevin Costner (including losing his accent after one scene), no Alan Rickman, no Christian Slater, no Morgan Freeman, no wind chime version of 'Everything I do' to promote the soundtrack, no Robin Hood movie.

Saw some Somali gals working on the bike trail yesterday. Think it was some Mpls youth work group or something. Long dresses and hijabs and building a retaining wall. Not the usual wear for someone swinging a hand sledge. I was impressed considering it was pretty hot on the Greenway the other day. Thought, if they can do that then it's not too hot for me to being biking in fancy stay-dri sorta stuff.

I think that's how a lot of the north African nomadic tribes dressed in olde times - sand protection but I think it's actually supposed to keep them cooler somehow? IDK how it works but I remember reading that at one point.

Kinda thinking I am going to try and squeeze a mad dogs and Englishmen bike ride in tomorrow in spite of the heat forecast. One ride short of my high end mileage goal for June. Red wine and two persons worth of pizza tonight might not be my best evening before hydration options but WTF it's Saturday night.

Oh, and half a bag or Hershey's chocolate kisses. I am out of control tonight. You'd think I was smoking weed considering the amount of comfort food I am eating.

Woke up to a big gust front pruning small branches off the neighbors tree and dropping them onto and then blowing of off of my roof. Mostly rolling north of me. Looks poopie for the people northeast of here. Not biking weather for sure but morning baseball from London in 60 minutes to wait out the weather here.

Wind curse is intact! Wind is out of the SE at 20 mph with gusts to 30. Now that seems more the norm.

The hourly forecast still says SE at 6 mph. Off just a little bit.
