Yes, this. Though paired with cardinal/black pant and the look is better. FWIW, I think ISU's new unis are terrible (I like the stripes on the shoulders and legs), but if the kids love them so be it.

Psh.

At least Gold is one of Iowa's colors. Not sure where ISU got the black from.

Most schools that aren't stuck in the mud have alt unis. I don't think that black is one of tOSU's colors.

Or what about Alabama?

Neither one of those schools have black as an official school color. But then, they are beyond reproach because they are blue bloods whereas ISU gets criticized because they are ISU and iowa fans feel like it's their right to criticize them.

Iowa State's blacks just need a little red trim somewhere.
Ar a charity function last year Campbell said the team designed these.
I agree that I'd like a splash of color but it's cool he turned it over to them to decide.

What are the school colors for ISU now?

You know darn well what they are, but I was in part answering your original question.

It could also be considered a throwback for us maybe (stretching but oh well).

Yes, they're for Penn St. Assuming we're both ranked in the top-5 it'll likely be a night game. Hopefully they'll look better under the lights.
