Halliburton will have a Jarrett Culver type season for ISU.

Yes, I’ll pass whatever I’m smoking.
Love the optimism. Haliburton is probably my favorite player on this year's roster. He can do a lot of things, and I love the way he handles himself out on the court.

Haliburton last year...

It is not impossible by any stretch of the imagination.

-- Tyrese was a much more efficient player at roughly 1/3 the usage
-- Culver was a much better rebounder, though, as you might expect
-- Tyrese was a much better shooter from all ranges, too

It might be a good comparison from a usage standpoint. I hope to see Haliburton's pick n roll usage go up, much like Culver.

*But not from the line.

True. Culver just maintained reasonable efficiency at huge volumes. Tyrese had almost astronomical efficiency at relatively low usage rates. We know what Tyrese can do at 10%, but we will see what he can do at 20% or 25% next year.

I know guys like Nixon and hopefully Bolton are going to be taking their shots, but Tyrese is going to have to step up on his shot-taking and shot-creation next season.

Yep, he'll be looking to score when he drives this year. He'll pass at times, too, of course, but, last year, he basically drove to pass the ball. I agree with those predicting a big year for him.
