Girl, you're not trying to do drop splits, are you???
Oh, gosh, no! In fact, there's a commercial I've seen a few times lately for a shower I think that features a young guy enjoying it. He uses the shower head/hose as a microphone, among other things, and does one of those split things. That has to be an optical illlusion because there's no way he could do that on a slick shower floor and hop right up again.
But I digress.

Many thousands of years ago, that was part of my floor ex routine...
At least football players earn some money while damaging their bodies for the future. :(

Could also work for Z or the mini-wx's...

All my grandkids are too old for this now. :(

I did this with the handprints of my my three kids (without the parents) for a x-mas tree ornaments. I had them do it on a really cool "paper" that goes along with the elf on a shelf that shrinks down in the oven. The grandparents really liked it.

We had EK graduation today. It was fun. The mortarboard was a bowl glued to some posterboard.
A stone age ago we sent my oldest to Woodstock for preschool. You know the crayon fence that used to be up on 13th Street in Ames? For graduation all of the kids wore cute little yellow gowns and mortarboards. I know Boxster will get why they were yellow.

Not exactly sure.
Not so bad when you're retired...but it sucks when you're still working! Hope you survive today. :)

I have been going to bed at 11-12 after going to moms (normal is 12-1) getting up at 2 and going to moms to see if she needs help with anything, then getting back up at 5 and starting the day after checking on mom again. so I can be back to make mom lunch. The therapists have been amazed at her progress. The nursing home is probably being placed on hold. Going to hire some in home care or move to assisted living in town to keep her independence. Said I can probably cut down to one check in at night and soon none.

My sister has came down a couple times to give me some time to work. I am thankful that more than a 3 hour block of sleep may be in the future.

Okay, so I got a call from dispatch a little before 6 saying they thought they had 2 or 3 pigs out of one of my sites. Site was loading out. Didnt think it was an emergency at the time. Left home about an hour later to go take care of it. When I get there, I eventually find one on the gravel road to the site. The gf came in from the other way and said there were county workers and pigs everywhere.

Long story short, after about 5 hours, we found 14 pigs spread out over a 5 mile stretch all because the stupid truck driver didnt shut his end door on the trailer. On my way home, got a call from a deputy that another one was found. Didnt get home until 8:30.

Healthy live hogs???? I could have used one in my freezer. Call next time if you need one to “disappear”.......or a couple.

14 is a little too many though.

It's great that you are there to help.

Years ago when my grandmother broke her leg she had no one close by so dad had her stay with us until her leg was healed. She would ring a bell if she needed help and me sleeping in the room closest was the one that always got up in the middle of the night to take her to the bathroom and back.

Being the closest it’s always been placed on me, not complaining.....at least not much. To me it just seems to be the right thing to do.

On a more minor note, one part of my rental agreement with my mom is, outside of utilities and cable tv, I pay for ALL her expenses. So I also know how expensive nursing homes are and if I can do some or all the work she needs to stay independent, it saves me a large monthly bill also.

Her safety and health comes first, it’s just a nice bonus that it saves me mucho denaro.
