Can't really pin-point the reasoning, but I want to see Memphis suck. Maybe they can be the UNLV of the Midwest?

I didn't like them during the Calipari and Pastner years (plus losing Taggart to them), but I don't mind them anymore.

I'm curious to see what Penny can do. And if he's taking recruits from KU, I'm also good with that as well.

Penny and Mike Miller are killing it in Memphis.

And that list doesn't even include the addition of Rayjon Tucker and they also have the 98th and 108th ranked recruits too.

So in total:

#14 2019
#37 2019
#48 2019
#56 2019
#98 2019

Looks like a recipe for 3-4 transfers next season. For the record, not criticizing the strategy.

Holy Cow. Makes cheering for Texas Tech reaching the Natl. Championship game last season even cooler.

This projects him to only play roughly 12.4 minutes per game.

That is marginally in the rotation, at best.

Looks like they have this guy...

...taking his spot.

I think Ellis and Harris will play together in the starting lineup though. I think it will look like this.

Harris
Ellis
Tucker
Achiuwa
Wiseman

This is because they run a a really fast paced system and this lineup would really get up and down the court and Achiuwa is a great fit for a small ball 4 because he is 6'8 but a great athlete who can cover multiple positions.
