I think he left the wall and was going north of north with the wildings from whence they came?

I believe he was going with them to protect them while they resettled (they were mostly children). That scene was A call back to the prologue of the premiere when they left the gate in a similar way to patrol against them.

I definitely think the 6 kingdoms wouldn't stand for long. People would say 'if the north can leave why not us?'. Especially since most of these kingdoms are likely to be pretty weak after the wars and could be pretty tumultuous in their own leadership

I wasn't as upset about the last episode as many were, but was pretty underwhelmed by the finale. First half was pretty good, but the second half felt so damn rushed. Was bothered by how easily Dany was killed by Jon, how easily Tyrion manipulated everyone into choosing Bran as the king and really wish Jon was the one who chose his fate in the North instead of being forced to go. Oh well.

So arya is an assassin who has the ability to use someone's face to sneak up and kill people on her list and she uses this ability once in 8 years?

Really? You didn’t watch the show. She literally slaughters an entire family of Stark enemies plus many other bad guys. You miss all those?

Yeah that’s what happens when the author loses the story and can’t finish one book (let alone more) in 8 years...

Overall I liked it alright. Watched it at a pub in the islands with people from all over the world and most seemed to enjoy it. Generally it was the Wayne’s world “everybody is happy ending” other than a handful of characters.

Happy for Bronn!!
I don't know anything about you, but after reading that I kinda feel like I want your life.

Two dudes (out of nowhere) in all black lead Jon (Aegon Targayen for no reason I guess), to his row boat.

Eh? John being Aegon was a huge plot point that affected this entire season and the outcome of the show.

Agree and One other point on this - the North is basically like the size of the other six combined. And has the history of being its own kingdom.

How many times did arya use the face after training. Once when she fed old man frey his sons and then once as walter frey. She had masks in season 7 but i don't remember her using them and this season nada. I guess I wanted more for Jon Snow and what Bran could do. So much went into Jons secret, multiple flashback scenes. Then Bran actually changed the past with that scene when Ned turns around when he hears Bran yell. My prediction was since Bran could change the past that Ned would have sat on the throne and not Robert Barathion.

This is one of the issues with having her be the one to swoop in and kill the night king. It then would have felt like a bit much for her to have another major kill.

I think you get my point. So many missed opportunities from so many great characters that were built up for 7 seasons. Everyone i liked had a happy ending for the most part, but my god did the writing suck this season.

I agree, way to much time was spent on Jon's secret to just be a motivator in dani's madness.
