I drilled down a little deeper. Full top 10 from (roughly) my week of graduation. All-in-all, could be a lot worse. (*My comments in parentheses*)
1. Let’s Dance, Bowie
2. Beat It, Michael Jackson
3. Flashdance … What A Felling, Irene Cara
4. Overkill, Men at Work
5. She Blinded Me With Science, Thomas Dolby ("Science!")
6. Little Red Corvette, Prince
7. Solitaire, Laura Branigan (*yawn*)
8. Jeopardy, Greg Kihn Band (*It's OK, but it's no "The Breakup Song." Then again, what is?!)
9. My Love, Lionel Richie
10. Time (Clock of the Heart), Culture Club (*I don't even remember how this song goes*)
Just missed: Der Kommissar; Photograph.

OK, if @VeloClone can post a snippet of dialogue, I'm going to, too.....one of my favorite lines from Caddyshack (and there are so many!):

I've wanted to use this line so many times in real life, but people would just look at me like I'm a dork.

OK, there's a real juicy chance for somebody......

The dialogue wasn't from the year, just a "and here we go...".

And Dean Wormer isn't in Caddyshack.

But I like where you are going...

That's not bad.

A couple of years ago we saw Chic perform Let's Dance as a warmup band for Duran Duran. It was the best warmup band performance I've ever seen.

Since you all forced me to reminisce back to my senior year of high school, I looked at the top movies from that year. The movies were better than the music. Also, there was this:

I guess next week the OT could be movies from your glory days.

I must be the only "real square cat that looks a 1974" so far.

#1 song of the year is this. I hate BS, but if I had to pick one to listen to this would be it.

Three I associate with that time/year for me:

Looked up the week of graduation. Don't remember the exact date. Late May.
Going to say this was it.

Such a weird 'fad'. I do remember there were actual streakers doing their thing at our high school that spring.

This was our class song, so I associate it with our year of graduation (Sorry, Mike Myers)

When I was driving to my 20th class reunion, I heard this song and felt a crushing wave of nostalgia. Not exactly my year of graduation, but close enough.

Haha, number one song of the year from the Canadian rock gods.

Number one song at graduation.

And it was the summer of Nelly.

Sometimes, I'm jealous of the mid-'70s people. Sounds like a wild period to experience as a late-teen/early adult.

The closest thing my age group had to streaking was ... um, I don't know ... Rubik's Cube?
