This might be selfish of me to think, but I’d almost rather texas jump us in the standings, and have us finish 6th if we can’t move up past the 4th place spot. We would play KU at 8 pm on Thursday instead of dreaded baylor at 11 am on Thursday. I think KU is a better matchup for us personally. Just wondered what others thoughts are on the subject!

Matchups aside, I'd feel better about our chances going forward if we could get the Baylor monkey off our back. It might be good for this team's confidence to actually show the ability to know what a team is going to do against them and beat them with it. Baylor plays zone and rebounds...it ain't rocket science. I'd rather see us make some adjustments and beat them than drop 2 lines to duck them.

We lost by 3 points there and 4 points at home. Why do people feel like this is an auto-loss?

Years we get swept by KU we beg for a re-match in KC, but with Baylor we want to steer clear?
It’s understandable though. Baylor is an elite rebounding team. They honestly didn’t shoot that great against us both times, but when they outrebound us by 20 it doesn’t matter. If they end up actually shooting 50% against us, and outrebounded us like they do, look out.

There is still an outlandish scenario that has Baylor jumping Kansas. I’ll be cheering for us to win out and that to happen. There is absolutely no scenario where I could ever hope for an ISU loss. Cardinal and Gold runs too deep in my blood for anything else. They will just need to toughen up and take the Baylor challenge head on if we are to match up with them. Fight with the will to do or die.

And if we hit shots like we have shown to do look out.

My first reaction was "who cares this year?" The Big 12 is so "up for grabs!" However, you make a good point about avoiding the 11am game. Campbell likes it for football, but I sure don't for basketball.

I just played around with it and got a 4/5 game with UT instead of Baylor. How would everyone feel about that?

Not trying to derail thread but thinking about heading to KC and have not been in a few years. If we play Baylor Thursday AM what will scalping price be for decent ( say sideline of lower bowl half way up) run? Any guesses?

It always depends on who else is in your session. ku really drives up cost and KSU has a little buzz around KC right now, but if you can avoid those two tickets can be had cheap for that session. I have gotten into the early session on Thursday for as little as $10.

Last year I payed $8 each for Section 121 Row 21 for 3 tickets for the ISU game on Wed.

Also, I've only scalped one time at the Big 12's and met a ku fan for tickets I found on Craigslist. I have always used StubHub, TickPick or Tickets For Less.

Not if Kansas or KSU are the #1 seed. Tickets for Friday will be insane if KU, KSU and Iowa State all advance.
