Why do you think they are trying to downplay the win? Make it seem insignificant, then we lose again, go after the coach even harder

its interesting that you weren’t here last night. Hell of a win wish you would have enjoyed it in the post game thread.

I could tell you were not at Hilton. Yes, we suffered from the poor student turnout, and the many empty seats due to the weather, but Hilton is plenty noisy. Lots of fun, lots of noise.

That crowd, in **** weather, was better than most teams pull on a good night in the Big 12.

Apparently I wasn’t the only one. Less than 400 posts in the game thread, in a game we are winning. Weird.

I was watching the game and enjoying the kids playing hard.

As I said before, this team needed to see some shots go down.

Our best player? Really. Played okay on some series, but there were other times when he was on the floor and he seemed in another world. Not sure what going on. The ball was coming up the court and Wiggs was looking the other way, talking to himself. I really like this kid, and wish the best for him, but I am wondering where his streaky play is coming from. And he has to have his head in the game - all the time. Hope he figures it out. Great athlete.
They need to take away 2 sections in the balcony for students and turn it to the public.

That was Marial's best offensive game as a Cyclone according to Bart. 21 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists with no turnovers is what the team needs from it's senior scorer.

At quick glance. Iowa State is 14-3 when Marial makes 2 or more 3's in a game. 9-1 when he makes 2 or more and shoots at or above 50%. It's a tall tall to ask someone to shoot 50% so I don't expect that, just interesting to see

Hopefully Talley gets more good minutes in the 2nd half. We just seem like a better team when he's in.

I agree. I like his defensive versatility and on offense he can be effective making good cuts off the ball and getting easy buckets. But the problem is whose minutes get sacrificed in order to make room for him in the rotation. For now I'm just happy he's still engaged and focused. If there's an injury or foul trouble he's a solid option off the bench.

I’ve only seen Talley come in for Talen. I would like to see how they do with him in there for NWB or TH.

Anyone not named Jacobson or Lard. We had some minutes played that would have improved by playing him, never-mind the future benefits.
