If Cam celebrates a little too long sometimes, I can live with it for all the other stuff he's been doing. I think he'll settle it down a bit eventually, but I love the fire he brings to the team.

Roger that. It seems like that's Prohm's approach too. In any of these cases, I didn't seem him jump down Cam's throat. I'm sure it's a delicate balance of wanting that fire, but needing it directed at the right things.

Even Oklahoma State fans are embarrassed by the attendance at that game.

That’s one of the worst road crowds I can remember in awhile.

Always be thankful for Hilton Coliseum and ISU fans.

Iowa would be embarrased by that crowd, free tickets and all.

I was wondering about that. I finished up my workout right around 8:00 and had to stop at Target on the way home. So I fired up Tune In radio on my phone and started listening. I didn't know if it was a home game or an away game... until I heard that crowd. (Or didn't hear it, in this case.) It sounded so pathetic.

I still haven't seen any vids or photos from the game, but I'm guessing the place was nearly empty?

Anyone who was around to watch the Fizer-Tinsley season... games like this are the games they gutted out also. I'm starting to get a really good feeling about this team.

Exactly, these types of games are where KU always made hay in winning the Conference. Nice to see us pull it out through the adversity.

Yeah, Coach Prohm has said over and over that he wants his guys to have fun and play loose. This goes along with that, though I'm sure the staff may subtly point it out on film if the delay led to a defensive breakdown.

I remember the old days when LE would talk about Jake Sullivan going into his homerun trot after hitting a 3.

I’ve seen worse, but you would definitely expect better with the #17 team in town and considering OU it’s still seen as a tourney team.

Kerwin Roach definitely wasn't Cam's guy to guard. Anytime you get a 4-1 or 4-2 break, there are going to be a couple of guys who don't run down to stop you and cherry pick instead.

I have no issue with Cam's celebrating but I can tell you the coaching staff was on him right away when Roach hit that 3. From what I recall his block led to a 3 on 1 runout where Hally got the layup. Cam was looking into the student section celebrating, as he wasn't needed on that end of the floor. Texas inbounded in right away and since we had 3 on 1 going forward we were outnumbered coming back. By the time Cam noticed he was late in closing out on Roach. I know Coach Robinson let him have it a bit.

In any event, love the passion and love seeing Cam engaged. Man he is a fun player.

What I love about the last few games is that they haven't even played great and they keep winning. That is the sign of a good team.

I couldn't help but think watching last night that even some of our best teams lose that game by double digits. No crowd, no environment, riding a win streak, playing a desperate team. Really everything set up for a let down and they found a way to get the win.

When OU tied it late the announcer says something along the line of "The arena has come alive!" Meanwhile in the background on TV there is about 8-9 people sitting in the stands. I'm sure it was absolutely deafening in there...

Those dead environments seemed to be kryptonite to some of those Hoiberg teams. I've always thought we played better in road games with a good crowd, our teams are used to playing with the noise, even if its a team cheering against them.
