We can't give everybody more minutes? It's a simple matter of math. Each team has 5 players on the court at a time. There are 40 minutes per game. 5 x 40 = 200 total minutes available per game per team. Wait. We have enough depth that we could put our players on the other team and create an additional 200 minutes of playing time. 200 + 200 = 400 minutes. That's how you create more minutes mathematically. Also, if we're fielding both teams, it would count as two wins.

Eric Steyer is shooting 50% from the field!! He has an outrageous, infinite turnover ratio. Zero turnovers this season!
The fact that he doesn't start is unfathomable.

If we get 110% from THT, and 110% from LW and 110% from Cam, that's like 330% and THAT'S pretty good.
And those aren't even our "effort" guys. Jacobson and TH have to be giving 120%. Based on this, we would be 70% better than everybody else using that lineup. We're currently averaging 79 points per game so the other team would have to score 134.3 points per game to beat us in an average game. I like our odds of winning if this plays out.

Remember a couple years ago when we had some overtime games at the beginning of conference play and for a while Monte Morris was averaging more than 40 minutes played per game?

And making a shot to win a BIg 12 tournament game in regulation in which we never had the lead with time on the clock!

It's all good. Jamie is making a proposal to the NCAA for a scholarship plan that has rollover minutes.
Players start 600 minutes per season and anything under that rolls over until the next year. You can play as many years as you want until you reach 3000 minutes.
How is Kansas going to cheat this plan?

In before Bode shows up and runs this thread completely off the rails.

I'd imagine jerisb has already come in and taken at least one post really seriously and melted down.

Not exactly sure.
If everyone gives 120%, will we get a technical for having 6 (600%) people on the floor at the same time? We need to hold them to 109% since 545% would round to 500%.

I personally support the platoon method advanced by Kentucky a few years back. Babb/T-Lew/Talley/Jacobson/Lard for 5 minutes then Hailburton/Wiggy/Shayok/THT/Conditt for 5 minutes.

I will give an honest response/thought instead of another sarcastic one...

The @ Kansas game did have some questionable minute usage. We had an almost 5 minute span when we went scoreless. We only played seven guys. Why not give a guy like Griffin or Talley a chance to bring a spark off the bench rather than watch the same guys fail to score over and over?

Cam couldn't do anything but foul and Lindell was forcing it. That was a game other guys should have at least been given a chance to succeed.
