ISU @ Ole Miss trip - Who else is going to Oxford?

We are flying to Memphis, then driving to Oxford from there. Stopping at Central BBQ for lunch in Memphis before we head South.

Had a group of 5 college buddies that were going to make the trip but one of the guys backed out two weeks ago and it kinda fell apart. We went to A&M a couple years ago and had a blast even though we lost

I wanted to but I have work events Friday night and Saturday. I have ex-coworker who is Ole Miss fan and moved back down there I could have stayed and gone to game with. Dang that would have been a nice break from winter too.

Driving down Friday.

From my brief research last week it seems the downtown/campustown is just East of campus.

Looking to visit Blind Pig, The Library, Rafters, Moe's BBQ, and The Levee. But many other places in that 4 block by 4 block area...

Friday morning, I'm driving into Oxford from St. Louis. That night, dinner plans at Boure. Saturday morning, I want to walk around campus and see the football stadium.

I wanted to but I have work events Friday night and Saturday. I have ex-coworker who is Ole Miss fan and moved back down there I could have stayed and gone to game with. Dang that would have been a nice break from winter too.

Unfortunately, weather doesn't look great, little break from home but high of 39 on Friday, but 48 for Saturday.

We were thinking Boure and the Library as well for Friday night.

The two of us are going. Staying at The Oxford Graduate and planning on dining at The Library as well. Also heard The Coop is a nice rooftop spot to enjoy a drink overlooking The Square.

When we went to Nashville 2 years ago for the Vanderbilt game, there was an event organized by the local Cyclone club, I haven't seen anything like that for Oxford, other than something in Memphis Friday night. Anyone else heard of or seen anything for this game?

Unfortunately, there is no alumni chapter in the state. Sounds like you may have to plan the event on your own. Maybe contact the Alumni Office to see if they know of anything happening.

I went to the Nashville one. Holy crap was that packed. They absolutely were not prepared.

Yeah. Jeds was the place. BB seating/court was right up there with the old Armory.

I was excited to go to Memorial because it looks so unique on TV.
I thought the place was a dump.
