Guess this is what I was trying to get to. When you look at the 19 and 20 PG offers of the 10 on 24/7 Jackson is the only three star. From what I've seen he's a CG and a quality shooter.

So yes we'll always be offering high equity PGs they just may not be the priority unless the current PG is a SR or likely declaring.

May be wrong but getting an elite PG when you still have one is no easy task.

That coach is horribly bad. They have a high major D1 superstar and a UNI scholarship kid in 3A and they lose games. They should win by 20 every game.

I am not saying he is the greatest but that post is terribly unfair IMO. (no, I am not from Osky and I do not know him). They play in a very good conference with coaching that I would put up against any other league in the state. Pella, Osky, Norwalk and even DCG all have multiple players who will continue to play in college. The 4th place finisher in that conference could very well get to state in Class 3A. I have seen Osky play several times already and I did not think they were that bad. They have inconsistent guard play, they have struggled to shoot at times and everywhere they go, it is a storm the court game for the opponent.

Wait another month or six weeks before casting some judgement on the season for Osky. At the end of the day, you may well be proven correct but I have not seen anything from that HC that anyone else would not be doing given that roster.

Norwalk has Bowen borne and Tyler Endres plays well also. However, Norwalk coach basically tells the team to get the ball to Bowen. Xavier should be scoring 35 a game against these small teams. The UNI kid should be scoring the other 30 points.

I remember when Boone was in that conference. It was fun.

When I was playing HS sports it was Boone, Waukee, Norwalk, Pella, Pella Christian (where I went), Osky, Grinnell, and Knoxville. I think Waukee had just replaced Newton. Everybody was always bigger than us cause they had football teams and we barely even lifted. We had the recruiting advantage though ;)

Yeah, Waukee came in as one of the smallest schools in the conference and left as the largest. Their football team beat ours up in 2004 to end our season.

Funny how they are second-largest school in the CIML after Valley now, too, only 14 years later. As far as I know, they are the second-largest HS in the state of Iowa.

I have a friend who is a Michigan State graduate. Loves his Spartans. He said Dantonio is a super nice guy but Izzo is a huge *******.

We all know Prohm is practically Mr. Rogers as far as college basketball coaches go.
