Hopefully the Bulls clean house with GarPax as well.

Coach K, Popovich, Phil Jackson or John Wooden couldn't have won with that abomination of a roster.

Seriously... hire one of the most innovative offensive minds around and surround him with proven non-shooters... recipe for success.

Seems to be the "pro" consensus that he heads back to the college ranks, but I'll be surprised if he does, since I can't imagine he'll like recruiting any better now. I think the logical landing spot is an NBA front office.
This.

If there are betting odds on whether he goes back to college or stays in NBA I want a piece of that action ASAP. Come on Vegas!

I think there is more truth to this than we want to admit (plus Parrish is well keyed into the college coaching scene):

Add in his flirtations with Minnesota back in the day and the smoke around him and Ohio State last year...

Things can change but I know for a fact when he left for Chicago he said he would never be a college head coach again

Yeah, I strongly disagree with Parrish and his take here. But I understand the thought process.

He may have been innovative for college ball, but pros........he basically took his old Timberwolves offense from when he was there and ran it at ISU.

That's too bad. Fred knows the game and would have been successful with the right players.

Fred has never really failed before, so I'd be surprised if he just hangs it up. But I wouldn't be shocked if he didn't jump right back in right away, either. His views of the college game may have changed after coaching pros on a poor team as well.

I think the whole "don't like recruiting thing" was overblown. Assistants can help you recruit, they can't coach 100+ games for you in the NBA every year.

Also if recruiting was easy at blue bloods you wouldn't see KU, UNC, Louisville etc all bending the rules and cheating. It's a nasty business everywhere all the time.
