I’ve got some seats left on my PJ for those interested. But it’s ass, gas or grass. Nobody flies for free.
Heck there's a direct flight on there too with a decent return for ~$650

So buying tix through the University you can't select the section? Wondering about waiting a bit and buying through secondary market to actually pick the seats, though dunno how expensive they'll get.
Nice for future bowls though for ISU to be able to claim the ticket sale.
University takes everybody's order first and then goes back and assigns the seats by ones Donation Level & points.
Buc-ee's are great but you should also stop at the Czech Stop in West, Texas between Dallas and Austin near Waco. Kolaches are incredible!

It would have been great to see Uncle Rico (Gardner Minshew) and the Pirate (Mike Leach) in the New Year's Six, but this isn't a bad consolation. Iowa State is extremely well coached and boasts a solid defense led by lineman Ray Lima and others. But after struggling in a snowy Apple Cup, Minshew shines in the dome as the Cougars finish 11-2.
Prediction: Washington State 41, Iowa State 34

meh...I do that every January to Florida. Book a room in OK City, and split the trip up.
