Always notable how few big 12 ties there usually are on the committee as well.
I have no faith in this committee. Still a joke though to basically make a conference championship game meaningless.
Per 538, OU jumped ND with the win. Not sure I buy that, but that's what their algorithm says.

I'm as sick of the SEC as anyone but that would be just wrong.
You have to look the percentage chance to make playoff. That would be a Clemson-ND-OU-Georgia playoff.
I think those are still the current standings; the playoff probabilities changed.
And why does everyone assume we are going to the Texas bowl? If Bama somehow wins we are in the Alamo..
I’d think Camping World would be next for ISU if Bama loses. If Alamo was going to take ISu i dont see why Camping world would pass us up.

I just hate the idea of two conference championship game teams getting into the CFP. I’m cases like this, it needs to be treated as an extension of the CFP, particularly where there are other teams with a reasonable case for inclusion.
So only SEC teams can lose one game and still be in playoff every year? Why not make that automatic and cancel all other championship games
Because for the same reason the Alamo bowl might pick us, the Camping World bowl would probably pick WVU. Theyre likely to travel better to Orlando due to proximity.
