I didn't watch. He's nauseating. The horns down thing is so ridiculous it's hard to characterize.
"Unsportslike" No, Bob, it is unsportsmanlike conduct. He says it wrong just about every other time.
I'm hoping OU blows out Texas and gets multiple unsportsmanlikes for the horns down
If OU wins, you know when that clock hits 0 everyone in an Oklahoma uniform will be doing horns down
Bowlsby is not a Big 12 hype man at all. Texas vs Oklahoma is ONE OF the biggest college football rivalries. I mean if you are the commissioner of the Big 12 you should be hyping up everything that is Big 12. You wouldn't hear the CEO of Ford saying that Ford trucks are one of the best trucks in the country, or Nike saying our shoes are in the top 3 best shoes on the market. Heck you would never even hear Jim Delany say that Ohio State vs. Michigan is just one of the best rivalries in college football. He would proclaim that it is, no if's and's or but's about it. Even if he doesn't believe it, it is part of his job to market the conference. This just further shows how the Big 12 marketing in general is terrible. We should be telling everyone and anyone to the point that everyone else is annoyed of hearing it that the Big 12 is the best conference without a doubt and has the only round-robin with the toughest schedules in all college football. But unfortunately we don't hear that. Instead we hear it from the Big 10 and SEC from every angle they can possibly spit their propaganda.
Also, what is this crap he is spewing about how he thinks a 4 team playoff is just great the way it is? Expanding the playoffs would be the best thing that has happened to the Big 12 since its inception. He should be leading the bandwagon to expand the playoffs. Even if he is not all about the Big 12 he represents it and all the schools, teams, and fans that are in it. And I guarantee the majority of everyone connected to the Big 12 wants expansion, so he should represent how the conference feels over how he personally does.

Honestly, the Big 12 Board of Directors should be holding his feet over the coals with regards to this. It's their fault Bowlsy isn't doing all of the above.
If horns-down is unsportsmanlike then shouldn’t horns-up be considered so as well?
It is stuff like this honestly that will have OU in 5 years say goodbye TX forever and jump to SEC or BIG..Just another example of “we are TX and we run the conference”..crap.
So is rushing the field after a big win! / sarcasmHorns down is very "unprofessional"
And if they fined OU for doing that, I'd hope every conference team not named UT would chip in to pay that fine! HORNS DOWN!!!!!!
