The Big 12 radio channel launches Oct. 22 and will be dedicated to Big 12 news 24/7. As a subscriber I am excited about this (I will still of course listen to CF podcasts too). No more listening to ESPN or Fox sports radio talk about BIG and SEC for an hour so I can hear 10 minutes about Big 12. It’s about time the Big 12 gets a nationally broadcasted channel. Next up a streaming Big 12 network.

This is awesome, I'd been a little jealous of the other conference channels.

I listen to sports on sirius more than watching TV with my commute and the west coast time meaning my midwest based teams play right in the middle of my drive.

I'm surprised Sirius is still around, what with iHeart and TuneIn.

I'd die if I didn't have the full plan with all sports living away from my Iowa/Chicago home team stations and spending a ton of time commuting. From what I understand it has steadily grown pretty much every year.

Stuck in my car from 6-730 and an ISU basketball game tips at 5 or 6...I can get Walters broadcast absolutely perfect without worrying about a crappy internet connection in my car driving over mountains? Gold.

I’d be interested in what people are paying. Mine expires in late January and with what they charged me for a two year sub the last time I doubt I’ll resubscribe.

I wasn't being a smart ass. I actually wasn't sure they were still around. I had it for a few years and liked it but when OEM radio went out I replaced with a non-sat after-market radio. Haven't really missed it that much.

I'm on free subscription until January (because of new car), but I got a deal in the mail to extend 1 year beyond my free trial for $99. So I did that.

Plus I use the web version to listen on my laptop while I work. And I have the app on my phone. With the phone app I can plug it into the radio in my racecar hauler and listen in that while on my way to races.

Tell them you want to cancel and they will eventually offer you a 5$ a month deal for 5 or six months. I do that every time and have been for the past 6 years on both of my cars. They will often start off with a little higher offer, but if you decline that, they will do something like 5 or 6 months for 30$. You're welcome in advance.
