So far the only for sure thing I am doing down in KC is going to Kelly's Bar to watch the Clones on Saturday. Any good suggestions for the rest of the weekend?

Haven't been there for years, but there was a great mini-golf place just south of Liberty on the way to KC.

And if you like beer, check out the Boulevard Brewing Company. They can't sell you beer, but they can sure give it away!

Go to Gates if you want BBQ. Don't waste your time with any of the others.

Come to my daughters fastpitch tournament.

I know you are probably loyal to Kelly's, but do yourself a favor and hit the Power and Light dist Sat night. Lot's of talent. Try Rock Bar.

I will second Oklahoma Joe's and Arthur Bryant's. Legends shopping area out by the KC Speedway also is a cool place to look around and they have an Arthur Bryant's across the street. I have been to Gates BBQ many times, but still prefer the other places. Check out the farmer's market downtown on Saturday morning and if you like fried chicken you can't beat the food at Stroud's.
