Sounding like the Mike Rose talk is legitimate. So much so that I'll be surprised if he doesn't play more than four games this year. I was skeptical at first but according to multiple sources, he is going to play a lot this year. The kid has been that impressive.

How so? I don’t see how having a true freshman MLB ready to play, changes the 4 man front. Not like he’s affecting DL depth.

I'll be honest, I don't follow recruiting too much and am really only intrigued by the number of stars and other teams that offered. Apparently this kid fits the "Diamond in the Rough" profile! I had to look him up to remember him. Here is his recruiting profile from 247.

If we have three middle/inside linebackers that the coaches are comfortable with, I’d guess that makes it more likely that they play two of them at the same time (without shifting one of the outside guys inside) than if they only had one,

Kid has some intangibles that you can't teach, which is crucial for a freshman.
