Figured I'd revive/remake the Cap City thread for the summer. Draft is tomorrow at 6 and the league is live tweeting it. Sounds like no Lard and Babb, but should be an interesting year with all the new faces.

What does your mock draft look like?

Lindell, Shayok, THT, Talley, Solo, Lewis, Griffin, Jacobson, Haliburton, Conditt

I have absolutely zero clue but that's how I'd probably draft it

Hard to go wrong with either Shayock or Wigginton at #1. After THT at 3 (assuming that holds form) the rest will be interesting.

Drake only has two scholarship players left that saw minutes last year - Nick McGlynn and Noah Thomas. But they do add Brady Ellingson from Iowa so there's that.

Yeah, but is adding Brady Ellingson a net positive or negative?

Steyer will be a good addition as a walk on - 6'5" shooting guard - shot about 40% from 3 in high school - HIGH Academic guy - Think attending ISU on Academic Scholarship. HS numbers don't jump out but more due to style of play at Ames. Born and raised in Ames. Fits the bill as a "culture guy" that Coach Prohm laid out on tailgate tour. (Son of WBB Assoc Head Coach Jodi Steyer so will know what being a walkon entails)

Also 3 juco kids one of which was a juco all American.
