Ruh roh!

"Multiple sources who’ve been briefed on the case and are familiar with the material obtained by feds told Yahoo Sports that the impact on the sport will be substantial and relentless. Sitting under protective order right now are the fruits of 330 days of monitoring activity by the feds, which one assistant US Attorney noted Thursday was “a voluminous amount of material.” That includes wiretaps from 4,000 intercepted calls and thousands of documents and bank records obtained from raids and confiscated computers, including those from notorious NBA agent Andy Miller.

“This goes a lot deeper in college basketball than four corrupt assistant coaches,” said a source who has been briefed on the details of the case. “When this all comes out, Hall of Fame coaches should be scared, lottery picks won’t be eligible to play and almost half of the 16 teams the NCAA showed on its initial NCAA tournament show this weekend should worry about their appearance being vacated.”"

Believe it when it actually happens. All that North Carolina classroom cheating. No penalty at all. Kansas could be 22 and 8 and they get a 1 seed in the tourney. Some things are just a given in NCAA men's basketball.

This is not the NCAA barely even trying.

These are FBI agents. They send you to prison.

“The University of Iowa Hawkeye team appears to be caught up in at least some of the allegations. When asked about the charges head coach Fran McCaffrey said, ‘we have no defense’”

And after he thought about it, MadFran added "You kidding me, you think we'd have to cheat to be this bad?"

Kansas, Texas, Baylor, and UNLV, however, are sweating bullets.

I’d be careful about getting all high and mighty on this one, at least right now.

Put me in the category that wouldn't be shocked at all if our last staff was involved in some minor things

I could completely see Matt A doing what "needed to be done" and Fred looking the other way because the NCAA would not do much anyways.

Prohm, TJ, and Small strike me as boy scouts who would turn themselves in just for thinking about something like this. Heck, the beat writers have heavily implied that there was an "ask" for Juiston and Prohm refused to pay it, so we lost him.
