No Travis Ferguson?

Anyone know why Travis wasn't suited up for the game? 22 have any insight?

Your right. He is listed as having one tackle. Did he cut his hair? I looked all over and never saw him, but obviously I was mistaken.

ISU4ME, Travis Ferguson did not play last night and was not even dressed. Not sure who you were looking at out there.

It is confusing because he is listed on the participation list and stat list with a tackle. There are often some mistakes on these lists, but the home team usually gets it right. Many times the mistakes are due to players sharing numbers. Jake Williams, walk-on WR, also wears #83. I suppose that he could have seen some action on special teams and should have gotten credit for the tackle. Anybody have the whole story? I have to assume that the posters who shared the suspension information are correct on that part.

Wonder if they confused the two? I doubt that these things are 100% accurate.

This is not correct (unless he lied to me). A week or so ago, he got a concussion in practice and the docs didn't clear him to play yesterday. He will be suited up next weekend.

I didnt notice Wallace Franklin either. I was confused at first because Houston Jones was wearing Franklin's number 15 from last year. I'm getting a program next week for sure!

Franklin wore 18 last year.

I apologize if this has been discussed and explained in a different thread, but I did not see Wallace Franklin or JJ Bass suited last night. I assume both were because of the issues over the summer and that they had not spent much time practicing to earn the suit. Does anyone know if this is correct?
I informally met JJ after the Iowa game last year in the parking lot. We were tailgating outside of stadium celebrating the victory and he was fun to talk to after his performance in that game. He was a very outgoing and appreciative young man that made a great off the field impression. I am hoping for the best for him.
