Since we’re talking ankle sprains...

Had a bad one when I was 21. Lots of alcohol magically healed it every night, but boy did that take a while to heal.

I’ve Had 3-4 severe sprains on both feet..crutches..whole nine yards. Took me about 2-3 weeks to recovery but i’m Not the athlete DMis with ISu training staff and todays technology..

Broke an ankle in college playing BBall - - six weeks in a cast and was fine in 2 months. Sprained an ankle 5 years later playing softball. Somehow drove home and crawled into the house sobbing in pain. Year recovery.

Similar thing happened to my son this year in football except he was pushed more straight backwards. I thought for sure his knee was toast. Never over complained about knee but said it was more in the toes and top of foot all the way back into the ankle. Scary and not really the pain I though he would have after the hit. We taped him up and he was back to running people over later in the game
