don't tell me kaep isn't good enough. and he's sure as hell good enough to be a ******* back-up
Yes it does. He isn't good enough to overcome what he brings along with him. It's a combination. If Cam Newton does this, he's still in the league. Kap, without Harbaugh and a very good line and running game is mediocre at best and the biggest problem for him is that when you look at how he manages an offense, it's awful. If you look at how he gets through progressions, it's bad.
He's better than 5 or so starters, and just about every backup. Don't kid yourself.
It won't happen and for the sake of Iowa State what specifically was described shouldn't happen. With that said and this takes the political slant on it. For the sake of this country I think what we need is for this to continue to happen so we can confront it. Part of the problem is we have consistently swept these issues under the rug. It is undoubtedly a mess. How to clean it up is up for debate but there are to many people who just want to keep the rug there. I know people want an escape from the crap of life but that is a cowards way out. Let's confront it and come out better for everyone.
I did. What I said is that he isn't good enough to overcome the distraction he brings. This isn't complicated. Do you really think Seattle just didn't sign him because of this deal? I'd argue they've been the most active franchise throughout this whole situation. They brought him in and decided against him. He doesn't bring value as a backup.
I didnt wake up thinking i'd be going to bed during a CF Kaep circle jerk yet here we are. Kaep, like tebow, is a known commodity. He's just not good. Dak prescott could shoot up an arby's and he'd still be dallas's qb.
I keep trying to think of how to express my displeasure about this conversation from all sides. This is the exact reason why our political environment and the negative discourse that exists within it. No one is will to see any validity in the other side's opinions. Why isn't anyone willing to express displease for a different opinion without needing to demonize the other party for having said opinion.
And I'm not attacking or trolling either side of this discussion. I just wish there was more willingness to accept that other people have opinions or make decisions that you may not agree with, but they are not bad people and do not need to be punished because of it. Whether it be repercussions for taking a stand for a cause they believe in, or for standing up for ideals they feel are important to themselves.
I am willing to take any blowback for this post being to down the middle and for not taking a side, but why do I need to? Why can't this be a civil discussion about differences where we all sit around and have a beer and at the end shake hands agreeing to disagree if that's where it ends? Speaking of beer, I think I'm going to kill an Oktoberfest from the fridge and call it a night.

Well if I went off of his QBR last year vs what people have currently done this year, he'd be better than 13 starters. http://www.espn.com/nfl/qbr
And if I took his record in 11 weeks last year compared to those qbs in 3 weeks this year, 27 of them have the same amount or more wins than he did last year. See? I can skew stats to fit my bias too.
These are the facts-he was 23rd in QBR last year and he is coming off shoulder surgery.
You generally don't get better after shoulder surgery as a QB in the NFL especially when you are almost 30.
