I don't really see much "skill" in his game.

What "skill"? I have yet to see this in any of the videos.

It's all relative to his size. Most 6'10" guys can't dribble or shoot at the HS level. It's even rare in college.

To clarify, I meant more skilled than McKay, which I think is a fair assessment because Jameel was not very skilled. It looks like George has a little bit more talent when it comes to shooting and ball handling, although I do agree that he is still not a "skilled" big man.

The best part of that clip is the doosh bag Mountaineer fans chanting Eron Harris' name after he cheapshotted Morris who had nothing to do with the play that got missed. Certainly showing their class there.

we haver to be like Iowa and land a legacy recruit. heck, I doubt Fran would have a job if he didn't back into so many legacy recruits and home grown hawkeye fans that happen to be good at BB. He even back into the Peter Jok. He was ISUs go lose at one point.

Tyler Cook is the first good recruit they've gotten that didn't either grow up a Hawkeye fan (Marble, Woodbury, Gessel, Gatens, both his kids, Weiskamp), follow a girlfriend/fiancee (Uthoff) or end up there because the school they wanted to attend had to stop recruiting them (Jok). I can't even think of the last time Iowa State got a player basically handed to them like that. Maybe Michael Jacobson as a transfer who sounds like he wanted to play here all along.

It is very strange that the best in state basketball players all seem to grow up being Hawkeye fans. It's almost bizarre. I guess the only one that didn't was Harrison Barnes and we don't want to go down that road.
