Lol....some of the fragile minded folks on here better hope so. Iowa, on paper, probably has their least talented team going into this year, since maybe the 90s.

You brought up Iowa. I said hats off to Downing for picking a school for academics vs. football. Always comparing to Iowa. I think there is a condition for this.
I remember when that Campos stud pick ISU over Iowa, last time I got upset at an OL recruit picking ISU over Iowa for obvious reasons

Lazard picked isu over Iowa and has since experienced 8 whole wins. I am sure he is "so proud".
This is not even close to being accurate.
ISU just added another commit not in the Top 1000 nationally. That makes 4 out of their 8 verbals not among the Top 1000 players in the country.

Many students pick isu for a major that Iowa doesn't offer, Downing is no different. Maybe someday the Iowa Legislature will agree with you and fund isu as the State's Flagship University. Until then you can always compare yourself to Iowa.
