After not having a live match since the first week of January (vs ASU), PD3 comes off the coach and goes 6-2 at the US Open to clinch a berth at the World Team Trials, controlling the match vs 2x NCAA Champion, Gabe Dean. We told you so.

Very few (if any, and if they did it was out of spite) around here denied your son's ability to win and overall talent on the wrestling mat.

It was his attitude, publicly talking/posting **** about teammates & coaches, and acting like a child when things didn't go his way that caused people to be OK with his eventual dismissal from the program.

Nobody cast doubt on his abundance of talent, the overall package was a bit concerning.
True...a lot of talented people in the world are too stupid to realize the gift and throw it all away. Look at guys like Johnny Manziel. Loads of talent and given all the chance in the world, but couldn't walk the straight and narrow.

Wrong, genius; he DOES go to Iowa State. LOL

Reaffirming the apple doesn't far from the tree. No one questions his talent. They question his integrity, character, work ethic, commitment not only to his coaches, teammates, and the university. His actions were downright appalling and embarrassing and even as not a huge wrestling fan, am certainly glad he is moving on from Iowa state. The sad thing is given your tendencies, you're not trying to help steer your son into the right direction (wrestling isn't going to last forever), and learn more about the real world, and that is rather sad.

And you think he just out of the blue decided to do that crap? You do realize that all four coaches have been dismissed; right? You also realize that PD3 was their only chance at scoring more than one point; right? There is always two sides to every story. It amazes me how the trolls who hide behind screen names seem to know everything about everything....just amazes me.

Imagine that..another know-it-all troll hiding behind a screen name. You don't know your ass from a hole in the ground about my boy. Work ethic...commitment...dude, you're clueless. BTW, this tree couldn't be more proud of his apple. He stood his ground...Cyclones could have had a NCAA champion this year...JUST LIKE I TOLD ALL OF YOU ALL ALONG.

They gave him plenty of rope over two years, and he hung himself with it.

Really? Seems they hung themselves...huh? He's still enrolled, still eligible, getting offers out the wazzoo...we're good, shadow. You can't keep us down...they've been trying for the past ten years...it doesn't work. I hope you can say Masters degree and NCAA champ, because that's what's coming next year, pal.
