AMES, Iowa – Iowa State head coach Kevin Dresser has announced that the next Cyclone Wrestling Town Hall Social will take place in his hometown, Humboldt, Iowa. Dresser and his staff will meet with ISU supporters on May 17, beginning at 7 p.m. at Rustix Restraunt (716 Sumner Ave, Humboldt, Iowa).

The food is free and there will be a cash bar available. All four coaches plan to speak to those in attendance starting at 8 p.m.

At the inaugural Cyclone Wrestling Town Hall Social, over 300 Iowa State fans poured out to The District Venue in Ankeny.

The coaches plan to discuss the development and progress of the Cyclone Regional Training Center, which is already hosting practices. This will be a great opportunity for fans to catch up on all the action before the Senior and Junior World Team Trials on July 9-10. Dresser will also give an update on all of the camps that will be taking place in Ames this summer.

Iowa State wrestling supporters are encouraged to visit the new C-RTC website (www.cyclonertc.org) to stay up to date on the C-RTC, as well as on ways to get involved and donate.

Anyone know of any former Iowa State wrestlers from the Humboldt surrounding area?
Dresser is looking for some former great to talk at the social.

Bill Fjetland is in Algona. Wrestled when Chris Taylor was there. Former Algona coach

Did Kyle move back to Algona? I can ask his dad. I thought he was living in Des Moines or somewhere now.

I hate to say it but the CRTC website is pure amateur hour, as is the logo. You not going to wow today's design savvy youth with that.

I agree, but it was probably designed for the older age group to navigate easily...

Anyone know how the fund raising is doing?

Iowa raised over 100k off hawkreport. we need to keep the momentum up after the splash hirings. competition is a good thing.

Do you have a link to the article you posted? I'd like to share with some family in the area.

I donated last week to C-RTC
Are there any perks to the donation? When I donated to CRC they would send an e-mail thanking me and include me on mailings. The CRTC simply deducted the money and I have not seen anything else.
