Offensively Lard will be the 5 and Solo will be the 4. Defensively Solo will be the 5 while lard will guard 4's.
I think it just depends on the opponent. If you play a team that has built bigs (DJ Johnson at K-State for example), I think you'll see Young at the 5. When playing the Baylors of the world who are long and athletic, I think you'll see Lard at the 5.

He was speaking defensively. Obviously young guards johnson but he can still play the 4 offensively

I don't want to look too far ahead but potentially a lineup: (Obviously in like 2019-2020)
Wigginton
McNeil
Lewis
Lard
Young

Hoping for this:
Wigginton
Moss
Lewis
Thompson
Young
W/ McNeill & Lard off the bench plus a combo forward w/ range.

Our best lineup next year could be two true freshman, a redshirt freshman, a sophomore, and a senior (with Shayok waiting in the wings to replace him).

2018-2019 is looking up even if next year means some growing pains.

6'9 240 as a RS frosh.....daaaaang. He and Solomon should be knocking the chocolate out of folks.

I think he probably showed up at a lot less than 220. I think he may have been less than 200. When I was that age and playing a lot of recball I was 6'4" 170# and still destroying entire bags of Doritos in one sitting.

The weight gain is impressive, but I see it more as Lard getting to a passsble girth, instead of being some muscular monster.
