We have a 47" TOshiba and a 37" Samsung. The Samsung blows the other away. Love it!

I'm in the market for a 26" (or 32" or so) TV, but new ones are out of my budget. If anybody here is looking to upgrade to a larger set, I'd be happy to buy your used one from you. It's going to a fellow Cyclone Fanatic, so you know it'll have a great home! Let me know if you have one to sell or know anybody that does.

Look at Vizios at Sam's Club. Buy a memebership and you'll still save quite a bit over what you can get them for elsewhere. Research the individual models but the price is unbeatable.

You can look around without getting a membership to see if it's worth it.

my parent's bought a 46" samsung during the superbowl sale at Best Buy last year and it is very, very nice. Plus they got an amazing deal on it. (I think it was marked down over a grand from what it normally was). I'm waiting to see if the same deals come around again to buy myself a large TV.

I've read that prices for LCDs should come down in the fall. They've been stagnant lately.

I debated between the 42" Samsung & Vizio for about an hour at the store alone and ended up with the Vizio, couldnt be happier after 9 months.

If you're looking for cheaper models (aka - not the "big names"), I like the Olevias better than the Vizios.

I bought a Samsung the same time best buy was having the $100 off a blue ray player so picked up a PS3 for 299 as well, they will doe that speacial again this fall if not already. Couldn't be happier. I have a friend that purchased 2 of the vizio's from Sams as well and they look and perform very nice as well, he is very happy. Wait another month until Fball starts the speacials will start up.

I also have a 42" LG, and have been very pleased with it. LG's tend to be more affordable than the bigger name brands, too.

The maker of Olevia brand tv's is in bankruptcy (Syntax-Brillian). You may want to consider how that affects your warranty before buying that particular brand.
