It doesn't make sense to make a paid-to-read section when I could just pay to read HawkeyeReport which is way more active if I was a hawkeye fan. Also the inside information is likely better there due to the people who run the site are probably living in Iowa (not sure on that).

Their forums are pretty dead but a few analytical sites I've checked still show them hovering around 350k hits a month. That's still pretty quality advertising $.
