The Iowa State women's basketball team (18-12, 9-9 Big 12) is set to face No. 8 seed Syracuse (21-10, 11-5 ACC) on Saturday, March 18 at 12:30 p.m. in the first round of the NCAA Tournament in Storrs, Conn. Iowa State earned its 17th NCAA Tournament berth on Monday, which is its 10th appearance in 11 years.
Iowa State's game will air on ESPN2 following the conclusion of No. 1 UConn vs. No. 16 Albany, which tips at 10:05 a.m. CT. Iowa State's game is set for a 12:30 p.m. tip, but may tipoff a few minutes early depending on the conclusion of UConn vs. Albany.
