Yep that is what killed the play. Can't pick it up in that spot of the court.

I counted 4 players more open at some point while he was dribbling around.

WVU switching to zone changed the game. KSU couldn't bust it and relied on outside shots and couldn't hit them. WVU won't be playing zone against us.

Teams that shoot 27% from the floor never, ever deserve to win a game. Unbelievable.

As I told revkah that KSU just needed any score to win, my heart sank knowing that it required Bruce Weber to set something up that even got off a shot.

I agree. Yet, after seeing the replay of the final seconds, #3 totally missed Iwundu in the corner. He would have had a much better look. If BW drew up a play that required #3 to dribble around the top of the key - well he should be labeled the worst coach in the USA.

On one hand I have a feeling we are "due" against them and are players I think will be pretty motivated to face them after already losing twice to them this season.

On the other hand I don't think we match-up that great against their style and I'm afraid after they had such a hard time scoring tonight they will shoot out of their mind tomorrow.

So in other words I have no damn clue what will happen tomorrow night.

Key for ISU is patience. WVU plays a rope-a-dope where it looks like you've broken the press but you're also out of control without a plan.

Also key is the refs doing their job.
