I'll have some of what you're drinking! I see a spirited effort and close score in the first half, then a loss by 10+ in the final 5 minutes.
I am usually optimistic and I believe we can win. I just don't think it's going to happen this time. Hoping I'm wrong.
Said this in another thread (and Im not predicting a win), but this is a textbook trap game for KU. Baylor in Lawrence tonight, ISU Saturday, than go to Manhattan for Big Monday.
Teams go through struggles, without question this team has seen just that. Look for the men in Cardinal & Gold to be "locked in" in a quite frankly do or die NCAA Tournament implicated game.

I look at that stretch of games for KU, and think they're probably most likely to lose at KSt. Only one days rest, and KSt with a bit of revenge factor.
With their home crowd, and the benefit they get from the refs at Phog, they could play their C+ game and still win.
I've done the "this is the game we turn things around" thing about a dozen times this year. At some point you call and spade a spade and realize that despite the guys' best effort, we may just not be that good.

We didn't get "blown-out" by Vandy. And to be honest, Oklahoma and Vanderbilt may be the best sub-.500 teams in the country! They are not "chopped liver".
I honestly don't see how we keep it close. At the Phog Kansas is notorious for having that 12-2 type run each half and our shot selection and poor decision making will fuel those runs. I hope I'm wrong but this one is going to ugly.
