Jake's got a new beat on Tech N9ne's new album, The Storm. Check it out here and if you'd like to support him, go grab the deluxe album! NSFW lyrics.

I'm sorry, but all that crap sounds the same to me. Monotonous and repetitive.

If you got nothing nice to say then just don't say anything at all.

This is a message board right? aka: "A breeding ground for negative comments". These boards are intended for the sharing of opinions, whether negative or positive.

No need to jump on somebody because they don't share the same perspective.

Back to the OP - can someone help me understand Jake's role/contrubution to the song? Is he trying to make a career in the music industry? Sorry for my ignorance. & Thanks

I would recommend the next time you share a song on here, advise that it's not work/kid friendly in the title.

Part of putting something out there, and sharing it, is the ability to take criticism.

Cool if someone's doing projects if they enjoy it...I typically lose interest very quickly when that kind of language is used and forced into the first two lines...this was no different.

I'm basically a prick like that though...like how I'll never catch the Dave Mathews fever just because the guy flops his legs around and attempts to scat sing during a 'jam'.

I'm with the other member that thinks that song is a big pile of SUCK. It would take a dramatic head injury for me to listen to that ****.

It shows right on the pic of the embedded video the parental advisory. And if you think a rap song is going to be kid friendly, that must be the first rap song you've ever heard.

So '(not kid/work friendly)' is hard to add to a subject line in 2016 when a song is posted that includes curse words in the first two lines?

There are times when cursing/bad language has a place in all music regardless of genre in order to be effective.

Using bad language just because it exists comes off as absolutely phony...the OP's song proves that.

There are places when someone's rapping and rhyming but doesn't have to curse to make it profound, no matter it's place in time or timing. But I guess more songs would need to be heard to understand that concept.

Probably a little harder than looking with your eyes at the picture you're clicking on and seeing a parental advisory, yeah.

Yes, because if the subject warned of it, nothing gets opened, which eliminates even a chance of inadvertent clicking something with parent advisory.

If someone were to go on any random youtube page, there's a chance of accidentally opening up something explicit. If someone doesn't go on youtube because they know it may contain something explicit, that eliminates the chance of something explicit being available.

Not just looking with eyes, but thinking with brain.

Maybe try not being an ass and just not commenting? Just a thought.

Maybe you should take your own advice. Just a thought. How is your message any different than mine, except I managed to impart mine without calling anyone a name?

You sure about that?
