Texas had to endure one BYU match point in the 5th set to win 3-2.
Really wanted to see PSU knock off NU. PSU had two match points in Set 3 and could not close the deal.
Was checking out the Creighton online roster. Dimke, their 6-3 setter, was an OH and serving specialist last season at Purdue. She was a helluva pick-up for Creighton.
Did ISU get involved with Jaali Winters from Ankeny and did Dad's MBB background at Iowa prevent her from going to ISU?
How'd Taylor Sanbothe do for OSU? I watched her HS career. Daughter of Former MU BB player Mike Sandbothe. Sister Elle plays for KSU
Stanford came back after being down 2-0 to beat Wisconsin in Madison and advance to the Final Four in Columbus, along with Nebraska and Texas (which will face each other in one national semi-final). UCLA and Minnesota are the last regional final being played right now. The winner will play Stanford.
Gophers rolling in the 2nd set so looks like 2 Big 10, one Pac 12 and one Big 12. Glad to see Big 12 in the Final Four with the year the Big 10 had.
And earlier, Andie Malloy gets the match point for Nebraska.

Having some Golden Gopher envy. They just won their 36th straight match in the Pavilion. Place was rocking with a great crowd.

They got ruled a little. Damn Stanford is big up front with the block at 6'-8" and the like.
lol whoops, I hadn't been following after Wisconsin lost, clearly. Yeah, that girl but a blocking show on Wisky. So I guess I want Texas then. Have to be careful, being up 2-0 on Nebraska didn't go well for Penn State.
and Texas with the sweep. Impressive, did not expect that to happen. Malloy ended career with 7 kills, 7 errors for a .000 night.
Great to have a Big 12 team in the final after the Big 10 and PAC 10 kinda ruled the season.
the stat box shows Texas just destroyed Nebraska with the block. Stanford used the block effectively against Wisconsin. Should be fun to watch.

We beat Texas? How did that happen? Yeah, it's the schadenfreude thing with me. Goodbye, Andie, forever. And Mikaela as far this year's tourney goes. Sorry. John doesn't get his 500th win either. That's a darn shame.
I was neutral on Malloy with the Baylor thing. Could see maybe ISU wasn't a good fit. Didn't feel that way anymore when she went to Nebraska. So it was fine by me to see the Big 12 end her career.
