I think it would be more new thread worthy if Cyclones.tv actually ever did work before a game. Looks like we left the worst streaming service for their competition at the bottom. New apps and Roku support don't mean **** if all you get is a blank screen.

Exactly - wake me when the service actually works. Now that would be news.

The worst part is that the fans at the game had to watch such a slow long game because of "TV" timeouts for a feed that apparently very few were even watching. I swear they had MORE advertising time than a normal game which is rediculous. I'm sure they played the same Hy-Vee commercial 50 times.

It was a ridiculously long game in person.

And they really need to cut down college halftimes. I don't know how these guys can sit for 30min and come back out with the same intensity and be into the game like they had been.

I got my refund which is good, but serious questions need to be asked why a Big 12 school consistently tries to pedal out a game on their own network and it never works.

I am a season ticket holder that was out of town for the game so I purchased the 4-month option. Needless to say my whole group was disappointed. This reflect poorly on Cyclone TV and the whole university. And why would only game day purchasers receive a refund. Very, very poor product. Fool me one shame on you - They probably will not get my money for a renewal.

So, my brother came to my house to stream the game (as i was at the game) and had no problems. Asked my other friends who were streaming and they all said they were able to watch the game just fine (went 'blurry' a few times, but nothing too long). Wondering if this company has a good CDN for their stuff setup or if it's something related to specific ISPs.

People, for your own good, have a little patience with Cyclone TV. I have subscribed to K-State HD TV for the past three years. The first year was shaky at best. There were lots of technical glitches and constant buffering. The next year most of the glitches had disappeared and the picture quality was better. About 4 months ago they began using an outfit called sportslabs.com for the tech end of things. The difference is like night and day fantastic. Everything works as it should and the broadcasts are truly HD. It makes no difference whether the viewing is done on a phone or a computer. Safari, Chrome, and Firefox all work very well. Internet Explorer and Edge are not supported. A true techie will have to explain why. So, give Cyclone TV a little time and support. You will be delighted if it turns out anywhere as nice as K-State HD TV.

Mine was perfect all game on a Roku feed on the east coast. I would be upset too if it didn't work though

The media timeouts weren't the problem. It was the excessive number of stoppages for injuries/cramps that ground the game to a halt.

The problem is this isn't the first year. They should have it figured out at this point. When it works it is great but until then it isn't.

When you have a game that starts at 7 pm and doesn't end till 11 pm without overtimes or weather you have a problem. I don't think there were an abnormal number of injury / review times but they all added up. Just terrible flow and that is probably contributing to lower attendance in college football. It's on Cyclones.TV we can take as many "TV" timeouts as we want. It's not like we were paid $10 million dollars by E$PN

It is the first year with this new provider. Iowa State changed who ran cyclones.tv this year and I'm guessing they were not setup to handle this load (or need to fine tune their deliver setup)

I bought the one day pass and woke up today to a refund without requesting one. Anyone else?

I had the month pass and had to email them. I was at the game, but family was trying to watch and it was terrible. They apologized and said they would refund me, but never explained why it didn't work.

I won't be putting another dime toward it.

Never worked all that well.

I saw where UNI is being shown on a digital channel next weekend.

I'm sure it's more complicated to show ISU, but it appears possible to show a broadcast for a local team to the general public.
