Dang. Maybe I should start a "Official Cubs/Cardinals ****ing Match" thread so that I don't have to read this stuff here.

Uhhhh the post where you said something about brilliant deduction.

See? I know exactly how you feel when you post stuff too.

You're right. I was completely serious when I said that.

Cardinals turn off all music during Cubs batting practice so they are hitting in an empty stadium. (No, not the Cubs request.)

Cardinals then turn on classical music only during the Cubs batting practice.

Cardinals have their 2013, 2014, and 2015 NL Central Banners showing on the video board the ENTIRE Cubs batting practice (no, they don't normally do this)

Cardinal fans boo Heyward and Lackey for leaving a team who, on average, they played just 1.25 years of service time for.

Yet Cub fans are obsessed with the Cardinals.

It's a rivalry, and Cub fans finally have a team to cheer for that they believe can win it all (believe it or not, most Cub fans didn't think it possible last year)

Knowing when to boo and when not to boo is the sign of a knowledgeable fan. Last night was the correct time to boo.

And they played the music for Heyward because they knew he didn't like it. It worked. They lowered his average to .191.

It's really just a smart move by an organization and fans to do what they did. Just didn't get it done with the bats last night.

Heyward was hitting the ball well, unfortunately just right to people. He also did as much as anyone not named Lackey to shut down the Cardinal offense.

It sucks when Cardinals fans come in and ruin the Cubs thread with petty flame wars, don't be that guy.
